Snorkeling at the Butterfish pools

This is the school snorkeling in our favourite rock pool.
One day a local fisherman came along and gave us a live crayfish. He put it in a small rock pool so we could watch it.

We decided to catch it and let it go back into the ocean. I found out that they swim backwards using their tail to move through the water really fast.

Swimming

Hapuku School visited Woodbank.

We played duck, duck goose and had lunch with them.

We went swimming and played games in the pool.

Dodge Ball

Dodge ball is awesome!

Because you have to move a lot and it was fun throwing the ball at people.

I was really good a dodging the ball.

Sandy Bay Explores

I am splashing in the salty sea water.

It felt cool and refreshing on my feet and legs.
