The pool.

The pool has been up and running for 5 weeks. We have had a great time in the school pool.
The highest temperature has been 27 degrees. We have been using our snorkels and masks.

Lion Mask

I made a Lion mask with a balloon, paper and glue. When it was dry I painted it yellow like a lion. My lion has whiskers, mane, 2 ears and eyes and big sharp teeth! I am using my mask for our school show. I can roar like a lion!

We have been learning about adapting to our environment. We looked at the different types of clothes people wear depending on their local climate. My person lives in a hot climate.

All fun

Today we made our own voki's, it was so fun. We made them into a scene some were animated. Mine has got a squeaky voice! It sounds weird.

To day we made voki's which was fun. We got to make some cool animal characters.

Snorkeling at the Butterfish pools

This is the school snorkeling in our favourite rock pool.
One day a local fisherman came along and gave us a live crayfish. He put it in a small rock pool so we could watch it.

We decided to catch it and let it go back into the ocean. I found out that they swim backwards using their tail to move through the water really fast.
