Information Communucation Technology
Every morning we get to go on our blogsite. Sometimes we make a new blog or we just look at the comments that people put on the blog. It is interesting to see what comments people put on the blog. Sometimes we stay on for a long time. Mr Manuel encourages us to go on every morning. I like going on our blogsite to learn how use the computer faster. When I go on it I sometimes have to share with the younger students in our class. They are learning very quickly.

Woodbank School At St Jo's School Doing Sports
On Monday the 18th and Tuesday the 19th of August we went to St Josephs School Kaikoura for Sports Day. Hannah, Monique, Jessica-Rose and Stephanie were doing sports on Monday and Collette and I went into Mrs Gray's class. We did a lot of work. We were on the computers researching and learning about the Olympics. Collette and I got watch Jessica- Rose play soccer. On Tuesday Collette had our sports day. The first sport we did was volleyball and then Rippa Rugby. Mr Manuel was the ref. His voice must of been sore after 2 days of reffing. My rippa rugby team wore red tags and Collette's team wore yellow. The day was great.

(WOODBANK CAFE FOR A DAY!!!)
Woodbank School run our own cafe on Friday the 15th of August. It was an awesome day. It took us two months to plan and prepare for this day. We had more than twenty people who came to eat, drink tea, coffee and juice and a chat to catch up. We raised more than $100. We had planned this day by going to the Kekerengu store to see how to run a cafe. People in our community, Board of Trustees, Staff and parents come to join the cafe day. Thank you to all of you who came to support us. We had a magnificent time and really enjoyed the day!

Woodbank School Cafe For A Day
On the 15th of August Woodbank School's 6 hard working girls ran a cafe day. But unfortunetly one of our students was away and so was Mr Manuel. It took us 2 months to prepare. Mrs King had to buy all the ingredients. We owe Mrs King 105 dollars. We had over 20 customers. On our menu we had vege soup, white bread rolls, quiche, banana cake, fruit kebabs and tea, coffee and juice. At the end of the cafe day Mrs King saved us all a piece of cake, a fruit kebab and a piece of quiche. Some of us didn't want any soup.

How our Student Of The Week works.
We have a chart and when we work hard and display appropriate behaviour we get a sticker on it. When it is all filled up with stickers we have a special box with lots of goodies and we get to pick one of the goodies. They are all wrapped up so we do not know what we are getting.
