Vege Garden

We made no dig vege gardens, using old tractor tyres as the outside then we layered seaweed, grass clippings, horse manure, leaves and old lucern hay to make lots of layers then put compost on top and planted our seeds. We have heaps of beetroot, silver beet, radishes,  pumpkins, corn, peas and carrots growing. So Yummy!!!!!!

Sculpture

We all helped to make a sculpture for our butterfly garden using Oamaru stone. The shape I made was a circle. We stacked all our different shapes together with a stainless steel rod which runs through the middle of our sculpture.

Tree Hut

This is our awesome hut we made. We finally got it finished. We made it with rails, old fence batons, roofing nails and roofing iron. We have heaps of fun playing in it. We are going to make pully sytem for it so we can lift things up to the hut.

Shanty Town

We got to dress up in olden day clothes, like children would have dressed like 100yrs ago when we went to Shanty Town. At Shanty Town we went on a steam train, visited an old mill, panned for gold, went to China Town and made damper bread. We had a great day even though it did rain at times. It was the best camp ever on the Westcoast!
